Blistering Growth Across Emerging Markets

The International Monetary Fund announced last week that the global economic recovery is accelerating. However, the United States and Asia have found it more difficult to effectively trade and recover due to the European debt crisis. Nevertheless, a number of emerging markets are seeing impressive numbers.
For example, China's gross domestic product grew at a blistering 11.9 percent, but this could be an expected outcome of such a powerful and growing economy. Similarly, India and Brazil have been producing expansions that are comparable to China, with India's growth at 8.4 percent and Brazil at 9 percent in the first half. The growth of these emerging markets have produced some problems though including increased interest rates for Brazil and an inflation problem in India.
